• Tuesday at Yack Shack

What was left after morning tea celebration of a member’s 80th birthday.

We believe he had to make his own cake this year.

    Happy birthday John W

Frank, the sharpest tool in our shed.

One of Frank’s specialities is sharpening tools of all types.

Ron was assembling a workbench using a brackets kit. He did not have as many helpful advisors as usual so maybe this one will be straight forward and end up looking like it should.

One of our bright sparks. Bob, making a long pipe into a number of short pipes????

The kindling crew are currently gearing up to full production mode, preparing for the rush of orders when colder weather comes.

I think this one needs a little more than a blow out with the compressor but have no doubt he’ll have it up and running next week.

  • Quick Fix

Yack Shack had a visit from a temporary Yackandandah resident asking if we could repair a foldup table in her retro campervan.

The table had fallen down while the van was mobile and split the table top right down the middle.

A group of our guys quickly came up with a plan and not only repaired the split, but also added some braces to strengthen the tabletop and also altered the catch so the table should stay up in future.

Split glued and cross braces added for extra strength.
